Petal’s one little quirk is that she is a serial digger and escape artist. If Petal decides she’d like to explore what’s happening on the other side of the fence, she is remarkably committed to the cause. 😂

Because of this, Petal will need a very secure yard and a home where she isn’t regularly left outside alone for long periods. She would be particularly well suited to a home with another friendly dog to keep her company, or someone who works from home or is around frequently so she has plenty of companionship, stimulation and supervision — and considerably less opportunity to begin her next tunnel.

Petal is still very young, and with ongoing training, enrichment and plenty of appropriate outlets for her energy, she has so much potential. Her digging isn’t enough to overshadow what an incredibly lovely girl she is; it just means finding the right home for her is especially important.

She would love an active, involved family who can include her in everyday life and give her the companionship she thrives on.

If you have secure fences, plenty of love to give and preferably no plans to let Petal personally redesign your backyard, she might just be the girl for you. 🌸🐾
